meet your doula

my philosophy

Birth is intimate, messy, vulnerable, and sacred. It is an incredibly powerful process for the mothers intuition, trust, and understanding of herself. Life can be unpredictable and seemingly chaotic at times, as can birth - and so it is important to be surrounded by your trusted tribe. We as womben have been gathering and supporting each other in birth far before any system, doctor, or hospital were put into place. Birth is in our bodies, our bones, our blood. As the birthing mother your wishes, concerns, and voice in any matter/in any setting should be heard loud and clear. Prioritized.

As a doula, I am here to honor, celebrate, comfort and support you. I am here to meet you in the mess without judgement and with total understanding. I am here to remind you of the great power and strength you are apart of, to ground you and keep you centered, to empower you to advocate for yourself and your birth preferences, and to support you throughout your birthing journey.

In my own time I enjoy playing in the waves, forests, lakes, rivers, and mountains. I find comfort and healing through dance, yoga, journaling, art, good food, and a trusted friend. I’m a sensitive soul who enjoys sharing laughs, stories, hugs, party waves, and pow days.

I believe that we can resource and create our own medicines and I’m very interested in the healing properties of herbs, breath, movement, meditation, and water.

I am certified as a Holistic Prenantal, Birth, and Postpartum Doula through Pacific Rim College, as a RYT (registered yoga teacher) through Mocean Yoga, as a Childbirth Educator through BADT, as a Reiki Lvl 1 Practitioner through Reiki Energy School, and have a background in acupressure, nutrition, herbal medicine, energetics, and more.
